  We are chartered town planners who specialise in obtaining planning consent on strategic land primarily on greenfield property. We have experience and successes in complex cases and consult for landowners and key stakeholders throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.
  
  We are used to working on large single ownership sites or within teams as part of a consortium. We are presently representing the majority holdings in two garden villages delivering more than 7,500 homes. Including the rest of our current portfolio this makes us one of the largest planning promoters in the UK.
  
  We are extremely selective about the schemes we undertake to ensure that we can commit the appropriate time and resource to each of the projects we are working on. We are also committed to delivering the cutting edge of solutions from renewable energy, driverless and electric vehicles, communication and internet infrastructure to innovative technology that enhances community integration.

Following collaboration with Nicholas Boys Smith and Create Streets on our sites at Trowbridge and Shapley Heath, Lightwood are proudly sponsoring their ‘Building for generations: the Hatfield Symposium – How we create new places and steward old ones to be beautiful and durable, happy and healthy’ event at Hatfield House.

The conference has attracted keynote speakers, including Lord Salisbury and Michael Gove, along with industry leaders and experts to discuss a range of topics to improve and enhance our built environment.
