  We are chartered town planners who specialise in obtaining planning consent on strategic land primarily on greenfield property. We have experience and successes in complex cases and consult for landowners and key stakeholders throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.
  
  We are used to working on large single ownership sites or within teams as part of a consortium. We are presently representing the majority holdings in two garden villages delivering more than 7,500 homes. Including the rest of our current portfolio this makes us one of the largest planning promoters in the UK.
  
  We are extremely selective about the schemes we undertake to ensure that we can commit the appropriate time and resource to each of the projects we are working on. We are also committed to delivering the cutting edge of solutions from renewable energy, driverless and electric vehicles, communication and internet infrastructure to innovative technology that enhances community integration.

Consent granted for a 3500ft² unit in Private Estate

Elmbridge Borough Council

A plot in the very desirable Ruxley Estate with a complex planning history. Refused at appeal several times, Lightwood took over the project and managed to overcome the reasons for refusal by proposing a single 3500ft² house which was carefully designed to remain in keeping with local character whilst also providing enough substance to remain within the definition of local character. The project is currently under construction, due for completion early 2015.
